My favorite hobbies include baking and cooking, and I get excited about trying new recipes. I enjoy spending quality time with my family and exploring the outdoors. Hello, my name is Susie and I'm one of the part time English Language Teaching Assistants at Christian Alliance Toi Shan H. C. Chan Primary School.

I have lived in Hong Kong for four years after completing my Bachelors degree in Mandarin Chinese and Linguistics in the UK. It has taken a while to get used to the blazing hot summers, but I love the beautiful mountains and beaches here for hiking and camping! In my spare time I enjoy reading, keeping active through different sports, and drawing; I hope I can share my passions with my students this year.

Hello everyone! I’m Mr. Art, your new English Teaching Assistant at Christian Alliance Toi Shan H.C.Chan Primary School. I’ve spent years helping students discover the joy of reading, writing, speaking, and listening. In class, we’ll explore stories, build vocabulary, and practice communication through games, discussions, and fun learning. Outside school, music is my heartbeat—I play drums, guitar, and bass at my local church and love weaving rhythms into our lessons. I look forward to getting to know each of you and making our English journey fun and meaningful!

Hello! I am Ms. Barbara. I am your new part -time ELTA at Christian Alliance Toi Shan H.C Chan Primary school. I’m from Ghana, West Africa. I have been teaching and living in Hong Kong for five years after living in mainland for three years. With over eight years of experience in education,

I attempt to teach with passion so that my students develop the desire to become life-long learners .

Outside of school, I love to cook and read, especially classic stories like Beauty and the Beast or gripping crime and horror novels. My favorite colors are red and green, and my go to inspirational song is Miley Cyrus’s The Climb. Living here has also made me a huge fan of Asian cuisine; my absolute favorite dishes are dumplings and Kung Pao chicken, best enjoyed with a refreshing honey lemon tea!

 I'm a huge book lover! I read all kinds of storybooks - adventures, mysteries, and funny tales too. I can't wait to share some of my favourite books with you. I love playing badminton! I always enjoy a good game - even when the shuttlecock goes flying in the wrong direction! I'm a big movie fan. I watch everything - cartoons, action films, and even horror movies!
